Kings of the ‘O’ Official Tournament Rules-Participants
General
-Jump balls go to defense.
-Missed shot rebounded by opposite team must be cleared behind the 3 point line
(both feet).
- Check ball is required on all dead balls.
- The ball must be passed in to a teammate.
- (2) 20 second time outs allowed during each game (except in the last two minutes of
play) time outs are a part of game clock.
- Hit or miss on free throw the defensive team gets possession.
- At the end of the 10 minutes, if a team has not reached 20 points, whoever is ahead
wins. If tied at buzzer, then sudden death overtime (next point wins) a coin flip will
determine ball possession.
- Only 5 players per team.
-No roster changes after check-in.
- All participants must sign rules sheet and release of liability.
-If you are late for your assigned game you will be penalized ONE POINT PER MINUTE
LATE.
Fouls
-1st intentional foul will result in 1 free throw plus ball.
-2nd intentional foul will be a dismissal from game-- Refs judgment.
-All free throws are worth 1 point.
-4 personal fouls=ejected from game.
-5 team fouls=bonus on free throw.
Sudden Death (Overtime)
-All fouls are wiped clean.
-Each player will have 3 fouls
-Cannot win by free throw
Sportsmanship/Conduct
-Fighting WILL result in team dismissal from tournament.
-All Ref’s calls are Final.
-Any threats to the Refs or Tourney officials will result in dismissal from tournament.
Championship Game
-True Double Elimination Format (Championship Game will be replayed if it is losing
team’s first loss.)
- No time limit-first to 20.
